Vervaet Muck Handling System Whilst Vervaet are know primarily in the UK for their successful beet harvesters, they also enjoy success in their native Holland with high performance muck spreaders and applicators.
These are now available in the UK thanks to importers J Riley Beet Harvesters’ decision to diversify into what they perceive as a market complementary to their existing contractor customer base.
The Vervaet ‘Hydro Trike’ offers a choice of 15 or 19 cubic metre capacity. The onboard computer incorporates a load weight and distribution program which monitors application rate per hectare. The driver also has complete control over the speed of spreader discs and floor chains which can be adjusted according to conditions. Up to 200 hp of power is available to the spreader discs meeting the toughest of demands. All functions are easily within the reach of the driver who has excellent all round vision from the cab including the rear gate.
Driver comfort is enhanced by advanced hydrostatic controls for stepless speed changes and application rate. The cab is fully air conditioned and there is a tyre pressure control system. Besides ensuring a smooth ride, the low ground pressure tyres minimise soil compaction by effectively spreading the machine’s weight.

Vervaet slurry injection system
The slurry injection system is based on a choice of 10 000 or 14 000 litre tanks with a pump rate of up to 100 cu m an hour on grassland, 120 on arable.
Essentially an impressive tool carrier on three low ground pressure tyres, Hydro Trike can accommodate a range of attachments. Besides slurry injection and muck spreader, it can also take tank mounted spray boom, irrigation hose reel, silage, beet or dumper bodies.
